It seems like they're trying to force those of us that have the older free versions to either purchase their latest products or subscribe to their subscriptions, which is their way of keeping you in their wallet for the rest of your lift, or for as long as you want to use it. At the top, I've noticed it says'License to Sketchup Make, Pro, and other version, expired.
